Choosing a surround for the space around your dartboard
Which part of the wall do you want to protect?
A surround covers the wall immediately around the board. Its protection is limited to the area behind the ring. If you also want to cover a larger area, look at additional protection behind the board. The wall protection guide explains the roles of a surround and a backboard.
Check the board size and surrounding space
This surround is intended for a standard 45.1 cm sisal dartboard and has an outer diameter of 68.5 cm. Check your board size and leave enough clear space around it. If you also use lighting, check how it attaches around your board and surround.
One piece with a snug fit
The ring is one piece of PU rubber that you press around the edge of the dartboard. You can do this before you hang the board or once it is already up. The surround grips the board and needs no screws or glue of its own. The dartboard must still be securely mounted using its own fixing system.
